Accessible Remodelers

Smart Accessible Living is a family owned business serving the greater Sheboygan area. Robert and Jason Pfeifer, father and son, started the business in 2012. Recognizing society’s growing aging in place and senior population, the home remodeling team focuses their skills on serving this group of people.  They are compassionate in helping aging adults remain in their home comfortably, safely, and barrier free by adapting the home around their needs.

At Smart Accessible Living we have experience in customer relations, working with disabled individuals, and construction & remodeling.  In addition, we understand and use universal design concepts and adaptive environment modifications in many of our projects.  By using our knowledge & experience, and most importantly listening to your needs, Smart Accessible Living offers you custom accessibility home solutions.

My construction and remodeling experience include starting a small business designing and building custom decks. In addition, I have had the opportunity to add additions and remodel several previously owned houses as well as general house maintenance and upgrades.

I am now extending my experience to making Smart Accessible Living a company that will grow with you by ensuring customer loyalty, trust, and above all, meeting your needs. Please don’t hesitate to contact me to discuss making life in your own home for now and the future a possibility.

<strong>Jason Pfeifer</strong>
Jason PfeiferVice President & Owner of Smart Accessible Living
My background includes working with disabled individuals and in the building & remodeling trades.   Examples of my work include building a pool house, studio, remodeling entire homes, basements, kitchens, and many bathrooms.  Through my experience, I have developed a knack for custom tiling projects, including floors, showers, counter-tops, backsplashes, and fireplace façades.

I look forward to meeting you and discussing how we can help with your next building, remodeling, or installation project to provide a safer living environment for you and your family.

<strong>Cindy Pfeifer</strong>
Cindy PfeiferChief Financial Officer of Smart Accessible Living
My background largely consists of being a clerk for the Village of Nashotah and continues today.  One large responsibility is financial over site, but equally important and enjoyable is being able to speak with residents and helping them resolve issues.

While I am also responsible for Smart Accessible Living financials, I help resolve our customer’s issues through team discussions, reflecting on my experience and resources.  I hope to have the opportunity to serve you and your family to create a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable home.

My background is in psychology and human relations and I have 5 years experience working as a school counselor.  But a passion for photography and design led me to a career change that now allows me to serve people in a different, more creative, way!

As part of the Smart Accessible Living team, I am committed to showing you, through photos and other visual media, how we can solve unique problems and issues, so that you may continue to live happily and safely in the comfort of your own home.
