Project Description

This master bathroom was a full conversion to totally wheelchair accessible by replacing the vanity with a roller-under sink, while still providing storage in a floor-to-ceiling cabinet.  A larger and higher toilet eliminated the need for a toilet seat riser, while fold-up grab bars provided more maneuverability while not in use.  The shower was upgraded from a standard fiberglass shower to a barrier free custom tiled shower that now extends the full width of the bathroom.  The shower includes grab bars, folding teak seat, integrated  niche, with a seperate shower wand for easy rinsing.  The shower floor meats flawlessly to the new bathroom tiled floor, which is heated and wi-fi controlled and that warms occupants along with the new exhaust fan with integrated heater.
